Hi there from this desert lovin' Arizonian-
You can call me Meg or Megan, either works for me!
HOW IT STARTED
My passion for photography, specifically portraiture, began when I was actually in middle school and the interest continued to blossom as I entered into high school and enrolled in a black & white film class. Not only did I find an incredible teacher (Mr. Guignard for all of you Highland High School peeps) that inspired me but I also began dating this boy with really long hair and skinny jeans... Guess what, that boy is now my husband (psssst... he is also a Ryan Reynolds look alike, lucky me right?!). He's such an incredible man and is always pushing me to pursue my dreams. You'll often see him around when we team up together for weddings.
HOW IT WORKS
In 2015 I graduated from ASU with a Bachelors in Fine Arts where I had continued my love for film photography. I was pushed to think outside of the box of traditional portraiture and create a work of art. I still try to work outside of the box and you'll see during our sessions they are not the traditional kind of shoot, I won't be working from a Pinterest board. Be prepared to have fun, run around, adventure, and maybe even get a little dirty. Wear those walking shoes! Every couple has a story to tell and I want to know yours and be able to tell it through my lens. I love to get to know my clients on a personal level so if that means meeting over tacos or shooting where you had your first date, I am all in!
WHO I AM
My husband and I love to travel when we get the chance and find new adventures. We are expecting our first baby boy in September and can not wait to become parents. We're both big Harry Potter nerds so, if you are as well, we will instantly become best friends. I am a sucker for a good sappy love story which probably explains why I am so passionate about shooting couples in love. You can catch me in my downtime Netflixing on the couch with my husband, wine in hand, and a good mystery.
I can't wait to meet you and see what magic we can create together.
